Big Axe Brewery Inc. was established in 2013, and we are well-known for our high-quality beer that has been caringly brewed to style with meticulous attention to quality.
We are known to use various strains of yeast and specialty malts, and we source local ingredients for our brews to give you only the best. We believe that the freshness of our products is a result of these efforts combined with the fact that we use pure, untreated water from our very own well. We take pride that we produce the most consistent brews in the industry!
The brewery takes its name from the now-famous landmark, “The World’s Largest Axe”, which is located a couple of kilometers down the road on Nackawic’s beautiful downtown waterfront and marina.
Our Brewery has a rustic, open-concept saloon-style atmosphere . We are located alongside the beautiful Saint John River, just 3 minutes off the Trans-Canada Highway, and we are also accessible by ATV, snowmobile, horseback and watercraft. Yes…we even have our own dock!
Our cheerful and enthusiastic team provides ultra-personalized service for an experience you will not soon forget! We often refer to ourselves and our regulars as a family, as we all share the same passion for our products, our brewery and our local community.
